Senior Product Development Engineer- onsite- Permanent - NO C2C only w2

Looking for 5 years of experience in product development, preferably within automotive.

- Focus is on "Air Intake" Needs an understanding of how to maximize flow, increase horsepower and the look needs to match the branding.

JOB SUMMARY:

Full responsibility for all design aspects of various projects including the development of new products, product improvements and cost reductions to address market requirements for automotive related products. The Product Development Engineer must be capable of managing multiple projects independently and simultaneously with minimal supervision. Timely and successful completion of these projects is expected.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

5+ years engineering experience in developing product from concept to launch; automotive industry is preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in the areas of technical expertise relevant to designing and developing new products.

Superior project management skills and ability to manage to defined timelines

Proficient in 3D CAD (Solid Works preferred)

Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.

Must be able to work in an environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.

Working knowledge of ERP system and MS Office

Experience in an engineering environment of a consumer products-based organization preferred.
