Job Details Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Manage case files, ensuring all necessary documents are filed accurately and on time. We seek self-starters who enjoy working closely with the attorneys on cases, rather than people who wait to be told what to do.
- Provide regular updates to clients, maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Assist attorneys with preparation for trials, hearings, and mediations.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and achieve shared goals.
Qualifications:
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a family law paralegal.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, managing deadlines, and navigating court systems.
- Familiarity with case management software and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- The ability to manage a caseload with efficiency and professionalism.
