We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our client's team. The Program Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the visitation programs, working closely with families, personnel, and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all logistical and practical needs of the visitation programs, including managing supplies and coordinating activities.
• Update program rosters weekly, orient new participants, manage day-to-day issues, and collaborate with staff to prepare assignments as needed.
• Make outside trips to purchase supplies as needed and order supplies online weekly.
• Liaise with medical staff and other professionals in all matters related to the health and well-being of the children.
• Work in collaboration with counselors to coordinate all admissions, discharges, and manage any issues that occur.
• Schedule and administer seasonal events, including special celebrations and holiday events.
• Plan and execute special enrichment and education programs for participants, including parenting classes.
• Ensure nursing mothers are properly supported and report all related issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in staff meetings and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Specifications for Education:

• BA or BS in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Administration, or related field.

Specifications for Experience and Training:

• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in an institutional type setting.
• Experience working with non-profit social service organizations is preferred.
