Position: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics
• Experience with a wide variety of small hand tools, including torque wrenches
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must work onsite in Eden Prairie, MN

Plusses:

• 2+ year certification/degree in Mechanics or Hydraulics from college/trade school
• SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience
• Prior experience working with 3,000+ PSI levels
• Soldering experience
• SAP experience

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join one of our largest testing and simulation clients. This individual will be responsible for assembling and repairing hydro-mechanical assemblies following the guidelines of complex blueprints and schematics. They will work wide variety of hand tools and 3D design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. A qualified candidate will be self-motivated and a good problem solver.

*Please note this is an onsite role in Eden Prairie, MN. Flexible work schedule for 4 ten hour shifts Monday-Thursday (1st and 2nd shifts are available).
