As a Business Development Representative , you'll play a crucial role in creating new business opportunities by connecting with prospects and scheduling product demonstrations. Working closely with the CEO, you'll help build the sales pipeline and be an integral part of the sales team's success. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company's growth.
This is a full-time role reporting to the CEO, primarily virtual, with occasional on-site requirements for special events and conferences.
Business Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by engaging prospects through phone, LinkedIn, and email outreach
- Build and nurture relationships with contacts and potential clients
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations with qualified prospects and sales reps
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure lead quality and conversion
- Execute on the early stages of the sales process and develop a robust pipeline
- Prioritize and strategize target account lists for outreach
- Be an industry leader and advocate for the platform
- Set qualified appointments for Senior Account Executives
- Consistently exceed goals for generating qualified opportunities
Business Development Representative Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in prospecting or cold calling
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Quick learner comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus
- Ability to thrive in small, collaborative teams.
