Pharmacy Manager - Long-Term Care
Location: Little Rock, AR
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $140,000–$145,000/year
Schedule: Operating hours are 8 AM to 8 PM, with on-call responsibilities after hours and weekends.
Are you a licensed Pharmacist with a passion for leadership and patient care? We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead a team of dedicated pharmacy professionals and oversee operations at a growing pharmacy provider specializing in long-term care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support 3 full-time pharmacists and 6 full-time pharmacy technicians.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Manage staffing schedules to ensure operational needs are met efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Oversee medication ordering, inventory control, returns, and E-kit management.
- Medication Oversight: Develop systems to ensure timely, safe, and accurate medication administration.
- Compliance & Licensing: Adhere to State Board of Pharmacy regulations and ensure licenses for staff remain current.
- Operational Management: Manage administrative tasks, including new hires, payroll processes, and performance evaluations.
- Customer Care: Assist with phone calls and provide exceptional service to clients and patients.
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacist License with no disciplinary actions.
- 1-2 years of management experience (long-term care experience preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and organize effectively.
