Title: Design Engineer

Contract: 12+ months

Location: Decatur, IL or Tucson, AZ- Onsite

Job details:

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components for Large Mining Trucks, focusing on welding, casting, and fabrication processes .
• Utilize 3D modeling tools, particularly CREO , to create and refine part designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
• Conduct engineering analysis and apply problem-solving techniques to enhance component durability and functionality.
• Participate in design reviews, supplier interactions, and manufacturing integration activities.
• Support prototype builds and production processes, addressing technical challenges effectively.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
