Description:

Our client is currently seeking Senior Project Manager/ Estimator to oversee large-scale construction projects and lead complex bid processes in both public and private sectors. This dual-role position requires a proven leader who excels in project management, cost estimation, and regulatory compliance to drive successful project outcomes. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee project management and estimating duties, primarily focusing on project management (75%) and supporting the estimating team (25%).
• Manage and coordinate large-scale projects, including $20M+ contracts, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timelines.
• Prepare and analyze project plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Lead the development and submission of detailed bid packages.
• Maintain a working knowledge of project-specific requirements such as permitting, licensing, and bonding documentation.
• Provide technical narratives for private bids, clearly defining the scope of work and ensuring alignment with client expectations.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in project management, estimating, or a combination of both, with leadership experience in large, complex projects.
• Strong background in managing project safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating software, and Primavera Scheduling tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading estimating teams and delivering accurate cost projections for complex projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Lump Sum Site Development projects and private sector bid processes.
