Job Description

Pediatric SLP

Eagan, MN

We are seeking a driven full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team. Our ideal teammate is self-motivated with a desire to grow professionally, providing best-in-class care and exceptional patient outcomes. As an outpatient clinician, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of children. Treatment is individualized to each patient, as sessions are one-to-one, allowing you to be flexible with their plan of care. A rewarding part of your role will be collaboration with your fellow teammates! Our clinics are comprised of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. This allows you the opportunity to work together to drive patient success. This can include co-treatment when it is clinically appropriate.

Job Duties:

  • Perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in children.
  • Provide intervention and support to clients in the development of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of all speech therapy sessions, progress notes, and progress reports.
  • Bill for treatment while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Document appropriately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe clinic environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field required.
  • Must be able to obtain proof of current or pending Minnesota State Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (ASL/SLP). Certification is obtained through a state-approved program and is valid for a minimum of 3 years from the date of accreditation. We also accept CFYs.
  • Experience working with children with speech disorders is preferred but not required.
  • Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must possess outstanding time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
