PEG's client is seeking an Invoicing Clerk to help a manufacturer with a direct hire/ permanent opportunity. You'll create invoices for clients, ensure invoices are accurate and resolve billing errors. You're essential as the team's backbone. This role is 8-5p, Monday-Friday (no mandatory overtime here!), and in a great location - Des Peres, MO . Apply NOW!
What You'll Do:

  • As Invoice Clerk, you'll create invoices for clients and ensure all invoices are accurate.
  • Resolve billing errors and address discrepancies between orders and shipping.
  • Research inventory and verify the availability of products.
  • Verify and organize tallies, customer details, paperwork, bills of lading, and test reports.
  • Identify taxability and sales tax code for orders. Calculate additional charges, such as shipping costs, to include in invoices
  • Keep a record of collected payments with customer information. Work with other members of the financial staff and sales.
  • Perform any necessary administrative duties, such as auditing customer records. Prepare account statements for customers and follow up on outstanding payments.


To Be Successful, It'll Help If You Have:

  • 3+ years of invoicing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as 10-key data entry
  • Ability to stay organized while multitasking
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Sage ERP experience a plus (Sage the software, not the herb)
  • Basic math/algebra skills - calculators welcome
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
