Location: Columbia, MD

Business Model: Onsite 5x weekly Mon - Fri 8.00am - 5pm or 830am - 530pm

Company: (Equivalent to a Fortune 200 Company)

Experience: Corporate experience and 1 yr supervisory experience is required.

Compensation Up to $65,000.00 annually + an annual bonus + free stock options provided over $15,000.00


Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager as a right hand, to oversee daily administrative operations at our clients Columbia, MD office. This role will involve supervising an Office Assistant and coordinating office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.


***The ideal candidate will also have 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience, mentorship, or oversight of interns.***


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the Office Assistant to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and procurement, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee facilities management, including maintenance requests and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences, both internal and external.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Support HR with onboarding new employees and staff, if applicable.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of traditional true Office Manager experience is required.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a supervisory role, mentorship, or overseeing interns.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with office management software (e.g., SAP Concur, MS Office ) is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
