Primary Responsibilities:
In this function you will:
• Drive pressure sensor product improvements through engineering analysis, redesign, and testing of electronic products and system hardware.
• Develop and maintain electronic component list. Team with Component Engineering COE group for obsolescence review and management.
• Sustain product viability through proactive redesign of hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans, specifications, and general test procedures for requalification activities; coordinate requalification testing, advise personnel supporting efforts, evaluate test results and develop test reports.
• Work with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and High-Performance work teams (HPWT) to support and drive cost reduction initiatives and promote growth through product reliability and quality improvements.
• Support Customer Service product inquiries regarding pressure sensor products.
• Read and interpret internal, industrial and customer product specification and make recommendations for enhancements based on engineering analysis and field data.
• Support FRACAS system development, tracking, and metric development.
The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant Skills/Experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/ office location.
