job summary:

An industry leader in precision motion control products located on the north shore is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician for immediate direct hire opportunity.

In this role, you'll perform in-process, final, and first article inspections to ensure aerospace products meet all required standards.

responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections to check product conformance to engineering drawings and/or models.
• Assist Quality Engineers in preparing inspection plans and checklists for non-conforming products.
• Create and run CMM or vision system programs using drawings or models for inspections.
• Generate Discrepancy Reports and initiate actions for non-conforming materials.
• Address questions and resolve issues from Operators, Inspectors, and Engineers.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to validate and verify inspection programs (CMM, vision systems, etc.).
• Perform first article inspections following AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Work with the aerospace team to identify issues, improve efficiency, and implement solutions.
• Perform additional inspections and duties as needed.
