Job Description
We are seeking licensed A&P Mechanics to join a team in Billings, MT. This role offers flexible schedules, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to gain experience maintaining a large fleet of multi-engine cabin class aircraft in desirable locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Familiarize with the company’s policies and procedures and recommend changes to improve operational effectiveness.
- Comply with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s specifications, and company procedures during maintenance activities.
- Assist with shift turnover reports and participate in necessary meetings.
- Update aircraft fleet status and conduct on-the-job training as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and orderly maintenance work area and ensure proper material handling.
- Perform aircraft run-ups and taxi operations.
- Perform road trips to repair aircraft at stations other than the primary maintenance base.
- Clean aircraft after completing maintenance work.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- Current A&P certificate required.
- Must meet the recent experience requirements as stated in applicable regulations.
- Minimum two years of professional aircraft maintenance work experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and a personal set of aircraft maintenance tools are required.
- Ability to take instruction well and work independently or within a team.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
