  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.

    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour nights, 2 weekend per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays.
  • Shifts: Days 7a - 7:30p; Mids 11a-11:30p, 12p-12:30a, or 2p-2:30a; Nights 7p-7:30a.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Tele: GE. Have central monitor station on both nurses stations.
  • RT 24/7: Yes
  • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes & Omnicell.

  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; MANAGER INTERVIEWS, NO PRESCREEN

  • Unit: ER
  • # beds: 33 Total patient care rooms. 25 of these rooms are labeled '25' & have cardiac monitors.
  • They see an average of 210 patients.
  • EMR: Cerner experience preferred.
  • Charge nurse 24/7
  • Nurse Aides: They use ER Techs that have either EMT, MA, or CNA experience to perform tech duties & EKGs.
  • Floating: No floating outside of the ER
  • Floor specific orientation: Up to 6 shifts with a preceptor.
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Routine/typical ER patients; however they send out STEMIs, hemorrhagic strokes & peds.
  • This hospital is the base hospital for EMS.
