Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician at Lake Forest Recruiting Firm summary:
We are looking for a part-time Psychiatrist who is board eligible or board certified in psychiatry to join our multidisciplinary team in Scottsdale. The role involves conducting initial psychiatric evaluations, managing psychotropic medications, and collaborating with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Candidates must hold a medical degree from an accredited program and possess an active medical license, with preferences for those who have completed a Child/Adolescent Fellowship.
We seek a Part-Time Psychiatrist who is Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role will work 8-12 hours a week covering our Scottsdale outpatient site.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
- Maintain current and proper progress notes.
- Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
- Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
- Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible).
- Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful.
- Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.
