Job Description
ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This is a direct hire position with full benefits including 401k. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct recruiting activities to support production requirements, including job fairs Maintain communities ties in order to effectively maintain the pool of available candidates Conduct interviewing and follow the job selection process Assist in developing and conducting new Employee orientations to cover company policies and procedures, and benefits information Ensure Human Resources systems and policies are consistently applied based on principles of the company and are in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations Develop and assist with training requirements and coordinate all documentation for personnel files Assist in the administration of division drug testing program and maintain statistics Provide counsel and support to team members and management on employee relations matters and seek to maintain a balanced level of positive team member relations Assist in keeping the handbook is kept up to date by timely incorporation of policy revisions, ensuring adherence throughout the company. Administer all Division benefit programs and serve as a resource on benefit issues Administer FMLA program and disability management Administer Job Posting program Prepare and conduct presentations to encourage health and education on insurance cost containment Promote and ensure full utilization of all communication channels so that continuous dialogue exists among Employees, Direct Leaders, and management Provide counsel and support to Human Resources Manager and provide necessary backup Ensure timely completion of relevant portions of the EOS Action Plan Maintain a high profile with employees on the plant floor and be a strong advocate to ensure timely resolution of Employee concerns and issues Promote and facilitate the Open Door process and Fair Treatment Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience Post-secondary education in business, human resources, or related field Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource related field preferred
