Schedule

• Hospital coverage M-S, 8am-5pm (includes weekends)

Clinical Details

• Inpatient, community hospital
• Approximately 2-8 consults daily, follow-up varies 2-6 on average
• Almost entirely consult, occasional post PCI or outpatient pacer/ICD and the interventionalist/EP physician would admit them

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified (interventional or general cardiology)
• Active ACLS
• Active PA license or IMLC
• Must have at least 1 year of experience
• Fellowship required
• TEE/Echo preferred but not required

Call

• Call is split between days 8am-5pm and nights 5pm-8am
• Weekend call coverage starts 5pm Friday until 8am Monday

Support Staff

• Interventionalist and intermittently EP
• APPs in outpatient setting
  • One of the APPs has some hospital rounding and coverage responsibilities
