*Licensed Social Worker *

GHR Healthcare is hiring a *Licensed Social Worker* for a community organization in Hyattsville, MD.

*This is a full-time contract with the option to extend. *

*Job Details: *

_Client Assessment _
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify trauma-related symptoms and mental health needs.

_Therapeutic Interventions _
* Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy using evidence-based trauma-focused modalities, such as CBT, EMDR, Solutions, Play, Sand Tray or DBT.
* Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
* Utilize trauma-informed care principles to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

_Crisis Intervention _
* Respond to clients in distress, providing immediate support and stabilization and developing safety plans.

_Collaboration and Advocacy_
* Work with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support.
* Work with Case Managers to advocate for clients’ needs within healthcare, education, or social service systems.

_Education and Prevention _
* Educate clients and families about trauma, its effects, and coping strategies.

_Documentation and Compliance _
* Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment plans.
* Adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational standards, including HIPAA compliance.

*Schedule Details: *
* *Monday-W: 11am-7pm*
* *Thursday: 10am-6pm*
* *Sat: 10a-1p preferred*
* *Hybrid* Schedule is considered (split time between the clinic and working from home)

*Local Pay:* $70/hour

*Travel Pay:* $3,040/week gross

*Job Requirements:*
* Licensed in the state of MD (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD)
* 2+ years of experience with trauma survivors of all ages.
* Specialized training in trauma-focused therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, or somatic therapies).
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and cultural competency.
