Schedule Information
- 12-hour shifts: Days: 7a-730p; 9a-9:30p; Mids: 10a-10:30p, 11a-11:30p, 1p-1:30a, 3p-3:30a; Nights 7p-7:30a.
- Self-scheduling but not finalized until the manager balances it.
- Schedules are for 4 weeks.
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.

- Ratios: 1 to 4 unless ICU patient would be 1 to 2

- Scrub Color: Navy blue. If you wear a scrub jacket it also must be navy. If you wear an undershirt underneath your scrub top it must be navy, white, or black.

- Floating could happen between the 2 facilities to the ER. If floated prior to shift, would get a 2 hour notice prior start. Mid-shift floating could happen. The facilities are only 6.5 miles apart.
- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts at the primary campus & 1 shift at the other campus
- Common diagnosis / Types of patient’s: Typical ER patients. Some days they have MedSurg Tele holds in the ER. ER Nurses will be expected to take these patients.
- Additional Notes: They are a Primary Stroke Center. They rarely hold '5150 psych holds' longer than 12 hours. They utilize the MET Team (Mobile Eval Team). Could see 115 patients one day than 175 patients the next day. This must be their primary job. They will not work around another work schedule to accommodate hours. Must be very teamwork oriented.
