  • Job Description: Responsible for managing the care of adult or geriatric patients experiencing general medical conditions or surgical procedures. Must assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and provide support and education.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • 2 years of experience in specialty required
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Strong neuro background required
  • Experience with telemetry preferred
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: Days, 7a-7p
  • Weekends and holidays as needed
  • No blocked scheduling
  • RN Days ratio is 5-6 patients per nurse
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Details: Medical-Surgical unit with a focus on neuro patients.
    Additional Details
  • ALL TRAVELERS: MUST live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying
  • If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years
