  • UWH Job Posting Title - RN - IMC Surgical Trauma - Evening/Night, Traveler
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients in an academic medical and Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • Join a team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for both general care and IMC level patients in a 26-bed step down unit, where critical thinking and teamwork is a must.
  • Work in a collaborative environment, where nurses are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team with a strong voice in advocating for quality patient care.
    Job Requirements
  • MS/Tele experience required
  • Telemetry oncology, cardiac and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred.
  • Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
    Schedule Information
  • 1900-730, every other weekend or to meet unit needs
  • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Check Unit Description to determine certifications required. Must be issued by American Heart Association (AHA). Renewals: Certificates of Completion/Attestation showing proof that renewal was completed will be accepted and allow candidate to continue working while they wait for a copy of their new card.
    Additional Details
  • Required per Vaya standard.
  • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position. Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
