Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Harleysville, PA

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary + Annual Company Bonus Plan + 401k match

Position Description : Looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will prepare HVAC and plumbing construction drawings, details, and schedules. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and design building HVAC and plumbing systems. Read and interpret HVAC and/or plumbing plans and specs. Provide information to our estimators relative to the bid packages. Interact with customers to understand their building usage and internal processes to build a system that meets their needs. Document systems design in Revit. Engineering analysis work, including load calculations, equipment, pipe/duct sizing, etc. Building BIM/3D models and coordination of the models with both internal and external team members. Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and organized with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience with the BIM process, including software, document exchange, and project coordination will be helpful. Excellent project management, interpersonal communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to operate efficiently both independently and as part of a team with minimal direction from the manager. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Strong computer knowledge including experience with AutoCAD and MS Office suite is required.

Requirements:

• 3-4+ years of years of experience in the commercial construction engineering field, preferably in the HVAC and or plumbing fields.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Revit is preferred.
