Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler with extensive experience in plastic injection molding to join our team in Lancaster, PA . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively scheduling machinery, managing inventory, and coordinating resources to ensure seamless production flow. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary of $100,000 – $110,000 plus bonus and potential relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Scheduling & Utilization
• Schedule 10+ plastic injection molding machines , optimizing machine and labor use.
• Monitor production workflow to anticipate and address potential disruptions or shortages.
• Inventory Management
• Oversee raw materials and finished goods inventory, ensuring readiness for scheduled runs.
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Efficiency & Cost Reduction
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs/downtime.
• Continuously review production processes for potential optimizations.
• Delivery & Communication
• Ensure timely delivery of customer goods, proactively communicating any delays or issues.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience
• 5+ years of planning and scheduling in plastic injection molding environments.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating labor, machinery, and material flow.
• Technical Skills
• Strong computer proficiency, with IQMS knowledge highly preferred.
• Ability to analyze production data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Soft Skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Schedule
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM .
