We are seeking a Locums Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon for an ongoing position 60 minutes from Raleigh, NC. The role involves performing complex surgeries including facial trauma reconstruction and upper/lower extremity trauma reconstructions for both adults and pediatrics. The coverage needed is from Friday to Monday with strong support from OR and specialists.
We are seeking a Locums Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to work about 60 minutes from Raleigh, NC. This is a plastics, hand, and face surgery position.
- Coverage needed: 7a- 7a Friday thru Monday
- This is an ongoing need to start as soon as credentialed. (two weekends a month)
- Inpatient Only
- Strong OR and specialist support (trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, etc)
- Procedures Required:
- Complex facial trauma reconstruction, both soft tissue and skeletal (full face upper, mid face and mandible, coverage of cranial defects), both adult and pediatric
- Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction including soft tissue (tendon, peripheral nerve, and vascular below the elbow, and burns) and skeletal, both adult and pediatric.
- Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction, adult and pediatric.
- General plastic and reconstructive surgery, breast and body
- Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction and skeletal (distal radius, wrist and hand), both adult and pediatric
