Sleep Medicine Physician - Waldorf, MD

Position Type: Full-time, 4-5 days per week (could consider 3 days onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Prescribe and manage CPAP therapy, oral appliances, medication therapy, and other treatment modalities as necessary. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including overnight sleep studies, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT), and maintenance of wakefulness tests (MWT).

• Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to improve sleep quality. Encourage adherence to treatment plans and provide ongoing support.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine

• Board certification or board eligibility in Sleep Medicine

• Active medical license in Insert State

• Strong clinical skills with expertise in the evaluation and management of sleep disorders

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
