- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the Communication Infrastructure Project Manager in delivering successful IT communication infrastructure projects. Most of these projects are construction-related, requiring a strong field presence. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing tasks related to communication systems while ensuring quality standards, on-time delivery, and adherence to project requirements. This role demands exceptional communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Communication Infrastructure Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and managing IT communication infrastructure projects.
Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, drawings, and schematics to guide project execution.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project workflows.
Prepare, review, and edit project documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Conduct site surveys, which include:
Driving golf carts.
Carrying and climbing ladders (up to 10 ft).
Opening ceiling tiles.
Documenting findings (e.g., taking photos, annotating PDF drawings).
Walking through tunnels.
Visiting other campuses (e.g., Jupiter, Davie).
Opening ground pull boxes or manholes.
Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure proper installation and maintenance of communication systems, including switches, fiber connections, and copper cabling.
Assist in the quality assurance and testing of VoIP systems and network configurations.
