Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting processes, with a specific focus on Workers Comp and other P&C products. As a Senior Business Analyst, they will be responsible for supporting multiple workstreams and demonstrating autonomy in their work. They will represent the MA Analytics team in various forums with IT and the user community, as well as guide Analysts in executing various tasks. Familiarity with IT processes and methodologies is essential, as is experience in delivering large initiatives end to end.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize deep knowledge of underwriting processes to document requirements for Chubb's centralized platform.
  • Collaborate with Product team to ensure the MA requirements are accurately represented.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure requirements are understood and accurately developed.
  • Take ownership of the quality of the requirements developed.
  • Conduct UAT process planning, facilitation, and direction.
  • Communicate effectively with business subject matter experts to gather and understand requirements.
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and limited handholding.
Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of underwriting processes and a strong general knowledge of the P&C Insurance Domain.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented approach with excellent prioritization skills.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment, with competing priorities
  • Ability utilize various resources to navigate in ambiguous situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
