This is a PRN position working on an as needed basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:+ Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.+ Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.+ Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.+ Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.+ Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.+ Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.+ Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.OTHER FUNCTIONS: + Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:+ Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.+ One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: + Current license to practice medicine, by the state in which the facility(s) operate.+ Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification in a behavioral health specialty.+ Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.QualificationsEducationPreferred+ Doctorate or better+ PhD or betterLicenses & CertificationsRequired+ Medical Doctor+ DEA Registr ValidationEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
