Responsibilities:
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of instrumentation and control systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with instrumentation equipment and systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Fabricate and assemble instrument components as necessary, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and rectify any malfunctions or abnormalities in systems.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless operation and integration of instruments.
  • Employ precision measuring instruments to guarantee accurate readings and optimal system performance.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the life and functionality of instruments.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities, adjustments, and performance issues for future reference.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is highly regarded.
  • At least 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools and instruments.
  • Extensive knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and familiarity with CNC machines.
  • Experience with specific instrumentation brands such as Endress & Hauser, Rosemount, Vega, CMC, Fisher, and Allen Bradley.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and modifying instrument drawings.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quick and effective resolutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving precise results.
  • Prior experience as an industrial electrician is advantageous but not essential.
