Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities: - Prepare quotes to customers with adequate details to understand the product(s) and option(s) requested.
- Responsible for direct customer contact and the preparation of complete quotation packages (quotes, summaries, proposals).
- Responsible for researching pricing of non-standard items, answering basic questions about requested project, and for making recommendations for alternatives, if necessary.
- Responsible for entering data into Oracle.
- Assist with ordering material once quote is accepted.
- Verify correct material arrives in warehouse and is undamaged.
- Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports.
- Assist with site surveys as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications: - Experience in the construction industry preferred
- Ability to understand blueprints/ plans and specifications preferred.
- Must be a well-organized and analytical individual with strong math skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced/high pressure customer-oriented environment with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Must possess strong mechanical/technical aptitude and be good with numbers.
- Must possess computer proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Must perform well under stress and have the ability to multitask.
- Ability to think and operate both short and long-term.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone skills, as well as good listening skills.
Educational Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
