Description
Centurion is proud to partner with Correctional Healthcare Experts as the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full -time Physician to join our team for at Hutchinson Correctional Facility in Hutchinson, KS.
The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
Qualifications
•Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
•Active, unrestricted MD/DO Kansas license and DEA or ability to obtain
•Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
•Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
Monday through Friday day-time shifts.
