Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited PT/OT School
  • State of North Carolina Therapy License Required
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and demands
  • Comfortable using email, internet applications, and practice management software
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following
  • Perform patient evaluations and formulates a treatment plan based on the findings
  • Implement appropriate patient care treatment techniques including exercise techniques, manual therapy interventions, modalities, and provide patient and family education
  • Maintain all adequate documentation in a timely manner including closing encounters, obtaining Medicare certification, and appropriately coding for treatment provided
  • Attend formal continuing education conferences to ensure the growth of skills and expanding clinical knowledge
  • Supervise appropriate personnel including therapy assistants, technicians, and ancillary staff
  • Assist with business and administrative facets of practice as deemed by the manager including marketing
  • Assist with the formalization of new programs and continue to update present programs for growth of the practice
  • Attend appropriate staff meetings
  • Maintain all professional licenses, mandatory certifications, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned by Manager, including schedule changes and travel to office locations as assigned
