Job Description: Intercare Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility (SNF) team in Turlock, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities: - Assist occupational therapists in conducting patient evaluations to assess their physical and mental abilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' physical and cognitive skills
- Educate patients and their families on home care instructions and adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies
Qualifications: - Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of various therapeutic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuous professional development
Schedule: - Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekend rotation
