Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program of advanced practice nursing
- 5 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of nursing services and in specialty area(s)
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
- BLS
- Current Alabama RN license; CRNP credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing and collaboration with physician approved by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners
Certification in Specialty Area:
- For Neonatal, must have Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification (NNP) through National Certification Corporation (NCC) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Responsibilities:
In collaboration with a Physician, assumes total patient care for designated patients in a specialty setting. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.
