This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work and is ideal for an individual with at least two years of experience in workers’ compensation defense. The successful candidate will take on an open caseload and be responsible for providing exceptional client service while working independently in a paperless office environment. The firm is looking for someone with a strong work ethic who can contribute to its collaborative and client-focused culture.Duties:Manage and resolve a caseload related to workers’ compensation defense.Provide timely and professional communication with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed and kept up to date on case progress.Draft and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery responses.Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies and best practices.Utilize electronic systems to manage case files and documents, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.Demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.Requirements:At least 2 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense or related legal fields.Strong work ethic, ability to manage time effectively, and a self-starter attitude.Excellent client communication skills and the ability to provide prompt responses.Ability to work independently and manage a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.Comfort with using technology and electronic document management systems (paperless office environment).Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar license in the state of California (or ability to obtain).Skills:Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Proficient in using office software and document management systems.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Professional demeanor with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Company info#J-18808-Ljbffr
