Job Description:
- Work schedule options include 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts.
- Shift timings are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required.
- Be prepared to work in all units, including handling COVID patients.
- No flu exemptions or declinations accepted; medical exemptions only.
- Block scheduling may be accommodated if possible.
- May be placed on-call for one 12-hour shift per pay period.
- Staffing ratio typically 1 to 5/6, but may rarely increase to 1 to 7.
- Vaccination for COVID-19 is required, with no exemptions.
- Orientation consists of 16 hours that are non-billable.
- Expected to float to units with similar or lesser acuity if necessary.
- Include requested time off upfront during the application. Any requests after submission may not be honored.
- Candidates should be prepared for the possibility of being term-limited.
- Nurses must provide recent Nursys report upon submission.
- Previous employment at specified health facilities should be indicated.
