Zurich (New York, NY) seeks an International Service Consultant to consult to Account Teams to ensure the successful delivery of the International Program servicing for complex accounts, including customer service requirements, service proposition and handling of various service delivery issues. Specific duties include: managing the International Program servicing end to end and is the point of contact for customer on boarding of assigned accounts; providing input into the development of customer specific, value-added services for existing and new customers of moderately complex accounts; acting as an account representative by responding to customers service issues and coordinating with the appropriate business partner for resolution; assisting underwriting in documenting the service proposition; handling specific requests from Underwriting by reviewing service plan requests, determining feasibility of requests and implementing customer-focused service solutions; evaluating loss potential due to catastrophe, severity and/or frequency; rating policies and checking previously rated policies for proper rating; assisting in developing rates; coordinating data entry and performing quality checks on the entry before information is sent to the network; providing input into the development of service plans for prospects; assisting in implementing and monitoring service plans for customers; negotiating and facilitating reinsurance placements with reinsurance carriers; attending meetings and monitoring business decisions made at meetings to ensure each decision is acted upon in accordance with the outcome of the meeting; providing customer specific solution management in resolving complaints or handling other service-related challenges; and preparing service presentations. Position requires IPZ Certification. Position requires occasional travel within the New York area to visit local clients and local brokers. Option to work remotely 60% of the time from anywhere within the U.S.
Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Insurance and Risk Management, plus 4 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Global Service Consultant or similar position ensuring the successful delivery of the International Program servicing for complex accounts. Must have 4 years of experience working with IPS (International Program System) instructing local policy information into the system. Must also have 2 years of experience working with MIA (Multinational Insurance Application) system creating capability reports and completing MIA mappings and structure compliant international programs. Additionally, must have 2 year of experience working with Qlik creating various reports, loss history, program status updates, renewal summary, program overview reports and customer service reports. Specific experience must also include working with each of the following: domestic and international regulatory requirements; international manuscript wording; cooperating with business, finance, economics, reinsurance, and fronting; NCS Tool, Captive reinsurance, and CPC Tool; and delivering and presenting the IPZ Value Proposition. Must be IPZ certified. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the New York area to visit local clients and local brokers. Option to work remotely 60% of the time from anywhere within the U.S. Salary: $126,984/yr.
