Power Bi developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze complex data sets.
- Create data models and perform data transformations to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Power BI.
- Create models by joining tables from multiple source systems with large volumes of data, including systems such as SAP, BW, HANA, SQL, PI, Enablon, Track, and Cloud systems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports to enhance performance and user experience.
- Integrate Power BI solutions with other data sources and systems as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and new features in Power BI, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions.
- Create strong and insightful documentation regarding Power BI solutions developed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Data and Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
- Experience in designing and developing data models for business intelligence.
- Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Microsoft Power BI certification.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and other programming
