JOB DESCRIPTION:
?Key Responsibilities:
•Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades:
o Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica PowerCenter software and related components.
o Manage and maintain the Informatica Repository Service.
o Configure and administer security settings within the Informatica environment.
•Performance Monitoring and Tuning:
o Monitor the performance of Informatica workflows and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
o Tune Informatica workflows and configurations to optimize performance and resource utilization.
o Implement and monitor performance metrics and generate reports.
•Troubleshooting and Support:
o Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Informatica workflows, data quality, and integrations.
o Provide technical support to end-users on Informatica related issues.
o Investigate and resolve data quality issues and implement data cleansing and transformation rules.
•Security and Compliance:
o Ensure the security and compliance of the Informatica environment.
o Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data.
o Adhere to all relevant security and compliance regulations.
•Documentation and Training:
o Document all Informatica related procedures and configurations.
o Provide training and support to end-users on Informatica tools and best practices.
•Collaboration:
o Collaborate with other IT teams, business analysts, and data architects to ensure successful data integration projects.
o Participate in project planning and implementation activities.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience as an Informatica Administrator.
•Strong understanding of Informatica PowerCenter architecture and components.
•Experience with Informatica PowerCenter installation, configuration, and upgrades.
•Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting Informatica workflows.
•Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python).
•Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
•Experience with Agile development methodologies.
•Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Informatica Certified Professional).
•Prior experience of informatica PowerCenter migration from on-prem to cloud is a plus.
