A client in the Vancouver area is looking for an Information Systems Security Manager to join their team! This position will be a full time direct hire position within the Infrastructure Group. In this role we are looking for someone who has knowledge within security policies, procedures, and standards. In addition, we would like for this individual to have experience with security audits, governance, and compliance - specifically in HIPPA, HITRUST, and SOC 2. In addition, this will be the first security focused role for this group, and we are looking for someone to help with ideas about best practices, and develop best practices in Security further for this company. This client currently has security frameworks, but they are looking for someone to come in to enhance and expand their current policies, procedures, and governance. In this role you would also be hands on and look at vulnerability scans and meet with a change advisory board weekly. Healthcare experience: HIPPA, HITRUST, ENOC
Experience taking a group through a SOC 2 audit
CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security + desired
SIEM management
Jira
Cloud Security, Azure
4-8 years of experience within Information Security implementing security policies, procedures, and standards
Experience with Security governance, audit, and compliance
Experience conducting information security audits, vulnerability management, incident response, and end point security
Understanding of Security Standards such as: HIPPA, SOC 2, HITRUST CSF, ePHI. Healthcare Preferred: HIPPA, HITRUST
Experience with Rapid 7, Windows Defender or similar
Infrastructure background within Network and Cloud security, IAM, encryption, and experience with GRC tools
