A sign-on bonus of up-to $4,500 is available for this position. Subject to applicable taxes. Paid 1/3 in first paycheck, 1/3 after 6 months, and 1/3 after one year with a 12-month commitment period. A relocation assistance bonus is available for eligible candidates. Unit Description: Alice Hyde Medical Center is 25-bed acute care facility with an 11 bed Emergency Room. As an LPN on Med/Surg, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high quality care to a diverse patient population. General Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the direction of and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, in accordance with the NYS Practice Act, hospital policies, and the standards set forth by Nursing Services and the Nurse Practice Council. Qualifications: 1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing 2. Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State 3. Previous experience preferred 4. Excellent verbal and written communication sills 5. Ability to work with other healthcare team members 6.
