Title: Chemist I

Type: 6-month to 1-year Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Location: Houston, TX 77073

Work Hours: Can start between 7:30-8:30am but must have a consistent schedule each day. Must work 8 hours from start time, not including lunch. The lab closes at 5pm.

Must Haves:

-Bachelor’s degree in chemistry

-1+ years of experience in a chemistry-based role

-Great written communication skills (will be writing reports)

-Trainable and detail-oriented

Plus:

- Experience working in a household/industrial cleaning lab

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Chemist to join a Homecare and Industrial Cleaning Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical property tests and evaluating various cleaning products, including laundry and dishwashing solutions. Key duties include blending simple formulations from provided starting points and analyzing the results. The Chemist will also be required to compile and present findings in detailed written reports.
