Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct GP analysis to improve margins through sourcing cost reductions.

• Plan and execute RFQ’s for strategic product groups and suppliers.

• Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers to maximize value and minimize costs including pricing, freight, and payment terms.

• Manage multiple product sourcing projects and consistently meet deadlines.

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives and improve supply chain efficiency.

• Collaborate across department teams to define sourcing needs and ensure alignment with company goals.

• Track and report key metrics, such as cost savings and supplier performance.

• Juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of stocked alternative part numbers to recommend to the customer service and sales teams.

• Assist Procurement Assistants in managing inventory levels and refining forecasts and reorder points to achieve 5+ inventory turns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree : In fields such as Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst, with a proven track record in implementing procurement strategies within the supply chain management sector.

Interpersonal Skills : Strong ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with clients, suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies.

Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms and conditions, a critical component of successful sourcing strategies.

Project Management : Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely execution of sourcing initiatives.

Technical Proficiency: An experienced skillset geared towards Oracle products, Netsuite, Excel and ERP systems essential for conducting analyses and presenting findings effectively.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry market dynamics and trends, supporting informed strategic sourcing decisions.

Work Environment: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
