With general supervision, responsible for the ordering, receiving, storage, inventory, and issuance facility parts and supplies. Maintains parts rooms and coordinates controls part inventory program.
Role and Responsibility
Inventory Control :
- Maintaining and organizing stock records.
- Ensuring critical spare parts are always available.
- Performing regular inventory audits.
Purchasing :
- Handling non-stock items, stock items (spares), and materials requested by various departments.
- Managing purchase orders (POs) for contractors and equipment needs.
Preventive Maintenance (PM) :
- Creating and updating Preventive Maintenance schedules (PMs).
- Ensuring PMs are generated, assigned, and tracked effectively.
- Handling aging PMs and work orders (WOs).
Work Orders (WO) :
- Overseeing and managing work orders in the system.
- Assigning tasks to mechanics and following up on aging work orders.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Principles of maintenance management and parts
Principles and processes of inventory management.
Warehousing and storekeeping methods and procedures
Comply with all regulations regarding the handling of Hazardous Materials
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills
