As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the production team and supervising production workers.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining safety and quality
• Coordinate with the Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
• Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
• Support and improve upon quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
• Ensure the department is meeting target accuracy goals and completion rate of the weekly inventory cycle counts; manage warehouse and ensure accuracy of inventory and shipping counts
• Recruit, train, and hire employees

Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred
• 3+ years of related manufacturing leadership experience OR military leadership experience is required.
• Proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring a diverse staff
• SAP and/or Oracle (GCSS) experience preferred
• Union experience is a plus
