Chief Medical Officer – Biotech (Rheumatology/Oncology Focus)

My client is dedicated to advancing innovative biologic therapies and are seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead their clinical development efforts as they transition into the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the company’s clinical development programs.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, including authoring sections of the IND.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive clinical strategy and execution.
• Serve as the company’s medical expert, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, investigators, and KOLs.

Qualifications:

• MD with a specialization in rheumatology or oncology.
• Proven leadership experience in biotech or pharmaceutical clinical development.
• Strong knowledge of IND preparation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
