LHH is currently seeking a Long-Term Housing Case Manager to join our client in Philadelphia, PA. This is a fully onsite position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide continued supportive housing counseling and advocacy to former shelter residents.
- Offer individual case management, needs assessment, action planning, and evaluation for an assigned caseload.
- Accompany residents to appointments as necessary to maintain safe independent housing.
- Provide in-home and telephone support, informal counseling, and make outside referrals when appropriate.
- Assist former shelter residents in applying for relocation fund assistance.
- Identify new resources and develop informational materials on housing, financial literacy, domestic violence, tenant rights, and more.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social services or related field with 2 years of experience in direct service and/or advocacy required; experience in a residential setting preferred.
- Driver's License required.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population required; experience in an urban setting preferred.
- Experience working on domestic violence issues strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Prior case management experience preferred.
- Skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, group facilitation, and counseling preferred.
- Completion of Domestic Violence Advocate Training required.
Compensation
$19.80/hr
