Hours : B/D shift (2,2,3 schedule 6:30pm-6:30am)

Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement:
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies.
- Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Capacity Planning:
- Forecast future production needs and capacity requirements.
- Develop capacity plans to meet demand and optimize resource utilization.
- Identify opportunities to increase production capacity without significant capital investment.
- Layout and Design:
- Design and optimize plant layouts to improve workflow and reduce waste.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments to ensure employee safety and comfort.
- Design and implement new production lines or equipment installations.
- Cost Reduction:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process optimization and waste reduction.
- Analyze material usage and implement strategies to reduce waste and minimize costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and delivery terms.
- Project Management:
- Manage engineering projects, including project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budgets.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree within Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of strong experience as a manufacturing engineer or process engineer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with process improvement tools, such as value stream mapping and root cause analysis.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% between the other locations within Wisconsin.
