Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an established biotechnology company who is hiring for Molecular Technologists to join their team! This is a fantastic, contract to hire opportunity, offering competitive pay while working onsite. The ideal candidate has some NGS experience in a CLIA/CAP regulated laboratory. This is Monday through Friday, 1st shift for a contract of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently provides accurate NGS data within a CLIA/CAP regulated, laboratory environment.
• Performs routine laboratory testing, calibrations and maintenance while adhering to GLPs.
• Executes DNA/RNA extractions, quantifications and qualifications.
• Regularly performs Next Generation Sequencing library prep, probe hybridization, library capture, library cleanup and quantification.
• Correctly enters patients confidential, clinical information into LIMS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of clinical laboratory experience related to molecular biology.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to work both independently and on a team.
• Experience working in a CLIA/CAP regulated laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with NGS, automated liquid handling systems and/or robotics.
• Proficiency with both LIMS and Microsoft Office Suites.
